Crawford likely wont fight until 2017

Manny had the opportunity to fight Crawford instead of Vargas but he did not...I think Crawford will face the winner of vargas-pacquiao in 2017. Other good options are Danny Garcia (but Garcia won't agree) or Adrien Broner at 140-147. Broner would be nice because it would bring Crawford more exposure. Then there is Troyanovsky, but he is largely unknown and have fought terrible opposition, so i dont think this will happen. Or Burns, but thats pointless given their previous result

The thing we complain about the most is boxers seeming unwilling to take chances. The boxing world is waiting on someone to step up and take over. I wrote a thread last week comparing the current under 30 resumes to those of Floyd at the same age. If he retired at 28 his resume would still be twice as good as these current fighters 30 and under. These fighters have done nothing to even deserve the opportunity to get the torch passed. Look at what Floyd and Manny had done when Oscar gave them the opportunity and look at what these current fighters have done that you're campaigning for. It doesn't even compare. They haven't even earned the opportunity.

Pac could have faced Crawford intead of Bradley in his last bout ( Crawford was one of the 3 choices Arum gave him ). Crawford was hoping for it, yet Pac snubbed him. thats why he made that statement after beating Postol to unify belts

Also Roach admitted 140 is Pacquiao best weight class, he said Manny needed tune up fights to see if he is ready for Crawford, who he described as a young Floyd.

That's more an excuse for Pac fans to why he is ducking Crawford.
