The fact that a person can get knocked down, yet will have the chance to get back to their feet and continue with a proper fight.

Throw out anything you want to consider, in regards of styles or what not, but that simple fact is what makes boxing great, to me.

Boxing is my first love because I am a fist fighter myself. I can't kick worth a damn and don't bother to try. I love the hand speed, power, combinations, skill and defense of a good boxer. I try to learn from them in case I find myself in a fight which I am usually able to avoid. The MMA fighters have gotten so good over the years that I really enjoy some of the MMA fights with fewer rules and kicking, knees, elbows and wrestling being utilized.
