What's ironic is, if Ortiz get's a title shot and wins, then he'll finally get all the fights he wants.

Ortiz is definitely one of the top heavyweights in the world. He has the amateur pedigree and despite his age, doesn't have much wear and tear. He could conceivably outbox AJ and even stop him. Who knows? it's heavyweight boxing. My point is that this would be no soft touch for AJ.

Klitschko, Tyson Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Povetkin, Pulev, Parker, Chisora, Stiverne, Haye, Gerald Washington, Breazeale, Miller, Ruiz, Whyte, Briggs, Mansour, Chambers, Izu Ogonoh, Dinu, and maybe Rivas.Maybe Glazkov.

WE know 44 year old Tony Thompson can't, and Jennings can't.

Chisora is iffy.

Ortiz isn't being ducked, he is the quacker. Look at his boxrec, all his opponents were carefully chosen ham and eggers, and so is Malik, but Malik might get Ortiz.
After Malik, expect them to carefully choose Browne for Ortiz to fight.

theres not much depth at heavy. old man Thompson and Jennings are pretty much fringe world level in that division. a fight agains povetkin or someone like that would be good but I think Ortiz has done enough for a shot at the title

Jennings is a top 25 at best. So is Thompson.
