If ortiz demolishes everyone hearn puts him in against.. (and itll be better competition than he puts AJ in against barring this mysterious klit fight which probs wont happen)... there is absolutely ****in zero chance of him putting joshua in against him unless ortiz has a belt too and hearn thinks if AJ loses he can rebuild once ortiz is over the hill..

Ortiz is 25-0 with 22 KO's, and he has fought only ONE - I SAID ONE - "Semi-quality" opponent in Bryant Jennings. I even hesitate to call Jennings semi-quality, he is more journeyman than a contender.

How is it that Ortiz would be able to fight ZERO quality opponents, and then fight for a title.?

His last fight was against 44 year old shot fighter Thompson.

What is Ortiz doing next? Fighting another journeyman!

I can name 20 HW's that can beat Ortiz, just off the top of my head.

theres not much depth at heavy. old man Thompson and Jennings are pretty much fringe world level in that division. a fight agains povetkin or someone like that would be good but I think Ortiz has done enough for a shot at the title

When Ortiz doesnt show any weaknesses in his upcoming fights, Hearn will not put Joshua in there against him.
