lol, Im just saying that in theory its a much more credible way of establishing the #1 and #2 spots. The problem in practice is that some fighters today think they are too much of a big shot to fight a #1 or #2 eliminator.....

True! They all have their pros and cons. I hope all then do what the WBC is doing currently and dropping boxers from their rankings who don't enroll in their clean act plan with VADA. They already dropped like 25 fighters??? And some big names are on that list. I'm all for cleaning up the sport.

If they don't make a deal and it goes to purse bid, this fight won't happen.

The Wade fight was ordered by the IBF. It had nothing to do with the WBA.

Jacobs might vacate, Haymon won't let his fighter take a 75-25 split not a chance. Didn't Quillin vacate when he lost a purse bid a few years back? Sucks I can see it going down though.

                    1) Team Bull**** are well-aware of that

                    2) they couldn't give a fk

                    3) according to Team Bull****..... an easy 2mil for beating a no-hoper > negotiating in good faith with a threat..... they couldn't care less about that fight

nope, they are doing a FANTASTIC job of generating low-risk income for their fighter

lil'G is the one who doesn't want meaningful fights

                      * Canelo fought Lara, against the wishes of his promoter
                      * Canelo fought FLOYD MAYWEATHER for 5mil

Canelo did that, because he wanted meaningful fights..... lil'G refused to fight those guys because he prefers easy paydays
