Golovkin has quietly taken on the same level of opposition as DSG this year.

    LOL.

my favorite is the attempt of a clearly biased fanbase to paint the rest of us as the bad guys.

we recognie that golovkin's resume is lacking. we also understand why

    sturm
    martinez
    cotto
    alvarez
    eubanks
    ndam
    quillin
    possibly jacobs

these guys all turned down the fight. many of htem ditched belts, paid step aside fees, turned down mandatory spots to literally CHALLENGE for a title. the did not want the fight.

yes, golovkin's resume is lacking. it is because he is good, punches hard enough to shorten your career, and is subsequently avoided.

      But yeah, TOTALLY the same.
Wade competes in a division decrepit of talent if he fought at Welterweight he would have a far worse ranking.

morales and campbell were not top ten but the rest were a few were titlists/champs when he fought them

so that eliminates ouma for GGG then, washed up former 154 titlist

          bro...in their entire career...GGG has fought 4 former champions/titlist...garcia defeated 8

Garcia has less fights and is younger

The thing is that when Golovkins opponents get in the ring you can tell they are scared. Their performance is absolute ****. They are scared to stand up to him. Stevens and Brook are the only ones I can think of who fought Golovkin with the same intensity they do other opponents.

I praise Golovkin for giving us fights even though they are tomato cans. Not his fault but I'm not going to praise him as an atg fighter for it.

Add in the intimidating Russian/Soviet/Eastern European aura. I like to call it the "Emelianenko Effect."

                bro...really

                why are you so emotional

Garcia clearly has a better resume and is more accomplished than GGG

                get over it

you guys look ****** as hell critizing Garcia when GGG just fought a friggin welterweight, and before that he fought a guy we had to google who was on house arrest

Has GGG fought anyone as talented as KHAN, speedy and accomplished as khan, more dangerous than Mathyssee with the power and kos, anyone tricky like Herrera?

answer...heeeeeell no...stop being a cry baby man, its just a boxing conversation

You guys sound like bad fan fiction writers. Why the hell would anybody be afraid of Eastern Europeans? Have Postol, Provdnikov, etc. not been worked over recently. Golovkin is nothing more than Jirov, but without the will to face elite opposition.

Very true. They always omit the part where Andre Ward also called out Floyd at 154. Then the fact that HBO offered the fight to both Ward and Golovkin around the time GGG allegedly mentioned the 154-168 thing, which was actually in response to an idiotic media guy. Golovkin said yes and Ward said no.

he proved himself and no one expected him to come out on top from when 140 was loaded with talent a few years ago

dude had a span of fights where he fought kendall holt, Matthyssee, Herrera, jUDAH, mORALES, Khan, Nate campbell, Morales back to back...in a 2 year span he defeated more former champions than GGG did in his entire career.....almost twice as many

                      thats pathetic
Garcia fought Campbell and Herrera 3 years apart, not in a 2 year span. During those THREE years Garcia beat 5 champions or former champions which is impressive. GGG has defeated 4 champions or former champions in his career. Five champions is not almost twice as many champions as four champions. Both your math and your accuracy of facts on GGG suck.
