I think GGG has good defense, he parries and blocks well with his gloves and sometimes rolls his shoulder with punches, his head movement however is not his biggest strength and sometimes his head stays stationary much longer that it should. I also get the feeling that sometimes he loses focus just a tiny bit after 2 or 3 rounds, he doesn't lose focus for extended periods of time though but just like 5 seconds or so. Plus he hasn't shown his ability to fight going backwards or off the ropes, I think these are his weaknesses. I think busy fighters with good punch resistance can give him problems, his best performances were against guys that only threw one punch at a time or the fighters that tried to stick and move away from him, once you back him up with combination and stay in his chest he's not as effective.

he fought going backwards in the lemieux fight for the first half. until Lemieux was damaged enough then he moved in for the kill.
watch that and the brook/geale/monroe fights you will see GGG makes adjustments as he sees fit.

Been saying all along that he was exposed by Ouma
Just shows you that someone like Floyd or not even as good as floyd would outbox him all day long

lol Floyd fights nothing like Ouma. Floyd got his azz beat by c level Maidana. pillar to post pinned on the ropes and corners. no answers. 0 ring generalship. made him wear pillows and still lost that fight.
Ouma basically fought like holyfield in that fight. He got under GGG and went into a guerilla warfare with GGG, trading blow for blow. Then GGG put his head on Ouma's chest and gave one of the worst beatings in his career. straight up beat him out of boxing.
This fight if anything showed GGG can fight on the inside. He can put his head on your chest, camp there and throw damaging short hooks from all angles.

Nobody ever said he had top-notch defensive skills... No one who knows what they're talking about anyway. Even the commentators for his fights often point out how little he bothers to move his head, which makes him susceptible to being hit more, but he doesn't seem to care since he has a chin made of iron.
