After the top 2, the next 5 are pretty much third equal. Parker probably has the best resume, then Ortiz, but they don't have belts so fair rankings I guess.

I understand your point of view but Takam at the time wasn't ranked higher than Martin, Jennings, or Stiverne who were beat by Joshua, Ortiz, and Wilder. Pulev beat Thompson was ranked at #3 at the time, and beat Ustinov who was top 15

Wilder is an easier sell as yes he is the WBC holder (in recess), Parker though? Takam was his best win I think.

If simply judging on form, I will even agree that AJ deserves to be far higher than the two.

Rankings seem legit.

Although not a fan of Haye being anywhere up there - based on activity (or lack of), plus quality of opposition recently, he's way off where he needs to be. A name but no substance lately.

This list seems very subjective. Personally I'd say Alexander Povetkin hurt himself by ducking Deontay Wilder. As a result I'd put Wilder #2.

No one ducked anyone in the Povetkin/Wilder situation, there was a test and it failed and they should fight next year, Haye beat Gjeraj who was ranked in the top 10 by both WBO and IBF and was ranked at 21 by BoxRec and was ranked 24 by me so I gave him that ranking
