I understand your point of view but Takam at the time wasn't ranked higher than Martin, Jennings, or Stiverne who were beat by Joshua, Ortiz, and Wilder. Pulev beat Thompson was ranked at #3 at the time, and beat Ustinov who was top 15

      Wilder and Parker?

no matter how much of a fanboi you are, that is a ton of Kool Aide to drink.

Wilder is an easier sell as yes he is the WBC holder (in recess), Parker though? Takam was his best win I think.

If simply judging on form, I will even agree that AJ deserves to be far higher than the two.

Pulev vs Parker would be a really good fight, slight advantage Pulev.

I'm not really a fan of either but Stiverne was top 5 before he lost to Wilder, Parker has beat Meehan who was top 35 and then Takam who was top 15

          Rankings seem legit.

Although not a fan of Haye being anywhere up there - based on activity (or lack of), plus quality of opposition recently, he's way off where he needs to be. A name but no substance lately.

This list seems very subjective. Personally I'd say Alexander Povetkin hurt himself by ducking Deontay Wilder. As a result I'd put Wilder #2.

David Haye is ranked way too high.

What is the significance of a top 40?

No one ducked anyone in the Povetkin/Wilder situation, there was a test and it failed and they should fight next year, Haye beat Gjeraj who was ranked in the top 10 by both WBO and IBF and was ranked at 21 by BoxRec and was ranked 24 by me so I gave him that ranking

                01.) Wladimir Klitschko, 64-4 (53 KO)
                02.) Deontay Wilder, 37-0 (36 KO) WBC
                03.) Alexander Povetkin, 30-1 (22 KO) (17th Dec, B. Stiverne)
                04.) Anthony Joshua, 17-0 (17 KO) IBF (10th Dec, E. Molina)
                05.) Luis Ortiz, 25-0 (22 KO) (12th Nov, M. Scott)
                06.) Joseph Parker, 21-0 (18 KO) (10th Dec, A. Ruiz, Jr.)
07.) Kubrat Pulev, 23-1 (12 KO) EBU (European)
                08.) Lucas Browne, 24-0 (21 KO)
                09.) Bermane Stiverne, 25-2-1 (21 KO) (17th Dec, A. Povetkin)
10.) Johann Duhaupas, 34-3 (21 KO) WBC Silver

It also makes it easier to digest if you put a space inbetween each group of ten.

                    C'mon Sadiq what's going on?

Your #1 and #2 ranked boxers haven't competed in over 12 months.

You spelt Johann Duhaupas' surname wrong.

Charles Martin is retired and in a worse mental state than Tyson Fury.

Other than that, we have a big night of Heavyweight boxing!

They're both scheduled to fight though, I am sorry for the mistake, and if Martin doesn't schedule in 15 months then he's out of the rankings, and yes indeed we have a big night of heavyweight boxing
