It's similar to Lara tweeting GGG's name and when Loeffler reached out to Haymon, Lara's manager Decubas was asking if GGG can fight on Showtime and hinted at asking for $4-5 mil. These boring fighters don't even deserve $50K per fight if you ask me.
Rigo-Loma is the BEST fight to be made in boxing. Why shouldn't he get paid. Rigo is undefeated and regarded by most fighters and serious fans as one of the top p4p guys in the sport. The fight would pit 2, 2 time Olympic gold champions against one another, something that has never happened before in boxing.

On top of all that, Loma is the only guy that might be able to beat Rigo, and Rigo is the only one that might be able to beat him... This fight screams to be made...

You have to really hate boxing not want to see this fight.

Going into this fight, Loma KNOWS he would have to be the aggressor, be active, and take risks because Rigo is such a master counter puncher....

IF Rigo looked "boring" in other fights, he wouldn't look boring in this fight, because Loma has all the tools to be able to press Rigo, something that no other fight has been able to do because of Rigo speed and talent...this in turn would bring out the beast in Rigo...This fight is anything but boring...

Unlike the Manny/Floyd fight... I do NOT see Loma playing it safe like Manny if he gets down on points...Both of these guys like to win rounds convincingly.

Rigo says not Impressed with Loma, Loma is impressed with him!..

Rigo is willing to fight at 126. Loma was just at 126, I'm sure he can still make weight. Who is avoiding who?

        • He is promoting his fight brother. Can't take these people seriously.
Loma calls him out and then the Cuban starts overpricing himself.
          Always the same story.

          • Since he blew his chance at Loma, he can now face Davis. It's a perfect fight, they will each have 18 fights this year. Should be an easy fight to make seeing how they are both under Mayweather's spell now. Unless of course that fight would be too risky for either man who doesn't want to lose his "0".

Man that would be the fight I want to see. Davis vs Guilermo. Same size same build. No weight issues.

              • In my opinion, if Vasyl Lomachenko is supposedly 'looking up in weight' and 'looking for a challenge up in weight', then he should either go up and fight Terence Crawford or have no excuses to not fight Guillermo Rigondeaux. The only excuse for Vasyl Lomachenko not fighting Guillermo Rigondeaux is if he fights Terence Crawford. However, as soon as Terence Crawford is mentioned as one of Vasyl Lomachenko's potential opponents, lot of his fans seem to get cold feet or don't feel that confident in Lomachenko's chances at success against him. Then the excuses tend to be (paraphrasing): Oh, Lomachenko is too small and is only moving up slightly in weight, just for a challenge against slightly heavier opposition whilst being a natural 126 pounder.

If Vasyl Lomachenko is a natural 126 pounder who isn't able to move up all the way to have super fights against the likes of Terence Crawford and Mikey Garcia (because apparently he is too small for them), then there should be 0 excuses in Lomachenko not being able to make weight properly to fight against Guillermo Rigondeaux.

I am one of Lomachenko's biggest fans but I am a boxing fan first and foremost and want to see big fights happening. There are very few bigger / better fights than this.

NO WAY Mayweather lets Davis fight Rigo or Loma.

                  • Bring on Lomachenko. That's two KO's in row for Rigo. I give Max credit for bringing up Loma in the post fight interview...even if ****ing HBO tried like holy hell to get Rigo disqualified...That was shameful... Like they were trying to bully the commission into overturning the decision...never saw anything like that before...

It's funny... HBO is all over Andre Wards D*ck... But for some reason, when it comes to another much more talented black fighter (Rigo), it's like they do everything in their power to kill his star... Like wtf?

Now that Ward/Kovalev has happened, and Canelo/GGG is slated for September, Loma-Rigo is now the next big fight for boxing bar none... The next best being Thurman/Spence...

But Rigo/Loma isn't just the best fight to make like for the year, it's a HISTORICAL fight for boxing, 2, 2 gold medalists going at it, never happened before... They both have such different but uniquely pleasing styles too
