      • I've recently heard that Rigo claims he cannot seem to gain anymore weight. He fights at 122. Does anyone know what his fight night weight typically is?

I asked Rigondeaux his opinion on the potential fight with Lomachenko and why he thought it hadn’t come to fruition. “I can’t say what stopped the fight (with Lomachenko) from taking place. But I can tell you… it wasn’t me or on my behalf. I am ready to fight anywhere from 118-126lbs.” His willingness to step up in weight, answers my next question succinctly, leaving me romanticising about the super-fight.

                    • Not going to happen. The Cuban with seven fans was offered half a million dollars 2 yrs ago, but he wanted more. The Ukrainian superstar called his bluff and accepted all his terms, then all of a sudden the beggar was playing chooser. It's similar to Lara tweeting GGG's name and when Loeffler reached out to Haymon, Lara's manager Decubas was asking if GGG can fight on Showtime and hinted at asking for $4-5 mil. These boring fighters don't even deserve $50K per fight if you ask me.
