He's a promoter now and it affects how he deals with his own fighters and the difficulty of making fights because fighters want too much money.

mayweather is correct. He took risky fights to get where he was, these hype jobs on pbc dont want to risk there undefeated records and expect to get paid millions for fighting bums twice a year.

"Listen, go out there and kick ass, do what you're supposed to do and the paydays will come."

Say what? I thought it was about health comes first tho, and making a sh itload of money with least amount of punishment.

              Floyd the walking contradiction.

Yeah, Ortiz, Guerrero, Berto, Baldomir, Gatti, Maidana, faded Pac, faded DLH, faded Mosley--those were some big risks!

i meant on the way up. and mosley was the man he was supposedly running from before he signed to fight him, after demolishing the boogeyman margarito. pac was even younger than floyd lol, de la hoya was hardly shot.

Pac had 17 more fights on his resume, De La Hoya was at the end of his career, and he ducked Mosley since lightweight.

On the way up he got a gift against Castillo, and his biggest win was Corrales, which Floyd fans are still using as a barometer for his greatness. Genaro Hernandez was shot (Oscar beat him three years earlier) and Floyd caught him on his last fight. On the way up he somehow missed Stevie Johnston, Casamayor, Freitas, Paul Williams, etc.
