Danny Jacobs wants an interim fight before Golovkin! Jacobs is ducking GGG!

A large part of this is the fault of the WBA itself. Danny Jacobs has been allowed to parade around with a belt for so long and refer to himself as a "world champion" (which is laughable) that its gone to his head.

There is no way Jacobs would be so willing to miss this fight if it meant no more belt and no more title. The WBA should not allow an interim bout. Fight the opponent or the other man consolidates the belts.

This doesn't make sense.....

it makes perfect sense. If Jacobs can put the fight off till next year, its likely that GGG would get stripped because GGG/K2 will target Saunders for early 2017, then an IBF mando will be due, and then hopefully Canelo in the fall.

By putting it off Jacobs can pretty much guarantee that GGG wont be available to do the mando and would get stripped and then all the Haymon nut lickers can start 20 posts a day about how GGG ducked Jacobs....
