Terrible if true. Surely it can't be any surprise though, it was only a couple of months ago when he was saying how much he would want to fight Golovkin.

The thing i don't get is why the likes of Jacobs start saying they want the fight and then when it comes to the fight happening and it can be mandated, they don't want it. Fair enough if they don't want it, but don't talk **** before hand, it just makes them look even worse. Probably best to just stay quiet.

I'm guessing that team GGG is using the threat of the purse bid as Leverage...

Jacobs might be asking for too much, GGG's reminding them that a purse bid is likely much worse than what GGG is offering...

I suspect GGG has a magic number he's posturing for, like 65-35...
Perhaps 60-40 will get it if Jacobs holds firm...

I think GGG wants the fight more than the extra $$$... Hopefully a mutually beneficial deal can be struck...

Jacobs just PRETENDING to want to fight GGG and wasting his damn time then GGG will be left without a quality opponents to finish our the year and Jacobs will go fight ANOTHER lower level opponent. Hopefully this fight gets down but asking for a Interim fight is WEAK! If Eubanks Jr is the Interim fight then yeah I'm would be OK with that with the winner fighting GGG Next NO EXCUSES!
