Why did Devon Alexander do better than Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana?

Styles..Alexander is bigger and also a southpaw,plus he was alot younger then Mayweather who was 37 when he fought Maidana compared to Alexander being 25

but chino also got older too tho... or does chino stays the same?

Mayweather would beat him like taking candy from a baby. Easy work. A very one sided fight. Alexander stands way too far back when he throws punches so his punches fall short and hit only air. Fast hands don't do much good if the fast punches miss. Bradley easily beat Alexander and Mayweather is better than Bradley.

I think we'd see the difference in levels between them.

Devon is physically stronger and a better clincher than Floyd. It was easier for him to out muscle Maidana.

Floyd had a lot more trouble, but also had more success landing solid punches against Chino than Alexander did. Devon scored a very wide decision, but still looked less impressive somehow.
