70-30 is fair considering all the belts lil G has. But if lil g wants the fight, he might have to give up 65-35. 60-40 isn't fair considering Jacobs isn't bringing anything to the table except maybe the toughest name for lil Gs resume.

I pretty much agree. I think the concern from the Jacobs camp was that Team Golovkin would try to force that 75/25 split

I'm not trying to be argumentative here, I genuinely want to know your rationale.
But I don't know what these guys are preparing to bid, or whether they're really going to go through with a ppv. I can't see either side putting up over $6mill for this fight, and even then I don't know if that's enough to keep Danny happy with even a 30-35% split.

Not only would he lose his belt here, but he'd lose money at the negotiating table with Canelo for it. Furthermore he won't have a quality opponent to fight instead of Danny. Just overall loss for GGG if he backs out under any circumstances. I think HBO also understands the delicate nature of what's going on. They risk damaging their product here, when they could let him go on Showtime and come back a bigger star for it, plus they'd be letting Showtime blow out their budget in the process. Win-win-win for HBO in that scenario.

Personally, I think if the BJS - Jacobs fight would've been made earlier this year instead of Jacobs-Mora II, Jacobs - GGG would've had more $$$
Honestly, I'm tired of counting these guys money. I just want to see the fight

5 years ago, it was plainly obvious that is what GGG needed.
