1-The title defenses back in the day were strickly lineal defenses

2-Since the invent of the belt age the defenses are tracked per belt UNLESS said champion is lineal champ then ALL DEFENSES COUNT TOWARD THE LINEAL DEFENSE..


Hopkins title defenses were based on his IBF title which is why i say Monzon holds the true record as all of his defenses were lineal defenses...

That's not the rule. Find me a guy that skipped a defense of his original belt while defending other belts, people not counting it as a consecutive defense. Lacking any links to the "rule" that's the best you can do to prove me wrong

He didn't skip, the WBA refused to mandate it because it was a mismatch.

You're making the claim, you find someone that did it and it was counted.
