You're saying defenses of 2 unified belts don't count unless lineal? Cool story. Get me a link for that rule, when you're done finding the other one lolWhat?? maybe you are confused
1-The title defenses back in the day were strickly lineal defenses
2-Since the invent of the belt age the defenses are tracked per belt UNLESS said champion is lineal champ then ALL DEFENSES COUNT TOWARD THE LINEAL DEFENSE..
Hopkins title defenses were based on his IBF title which is why i say Monzon holds the true record as all of his defenses were lineal defenses...Comment

No they go toward the defenses of those title belts man...how is this hard to understand?

There ya go, Brook was a Mw title defense. Maybe you care more about Wba mw defense records, but normal people care about Mw title defenses. And to most, a defense of the Wbc + Ibf counts for more than a single belt defense. Enough crying?Comment

That's not the rule. Find me a guy that skipped a defense of his original belt while defending other belts, people not counting it as a consecutive defense. Lacking any links to the "rule" that's the best you can do to prove me wrongson look i just posted this **** for you damn

He didn't skip, the WBA refused to mandate it because it was a mismatch.
You're making the claim, you find someone that did it and it was counted.
