i think canelo loses at 160. Lemieux is the second best out there imo. Hes shown more heart and is a vicious puncher.. Canelo couldnt even knock down cotto once, where manny pacquiao has.

this would be a nice fight to see. Problem if canelo cant put this guy down then he wont put GGG down and would need to out box him. GGG on the other hand can box himself and has a solid jab that keeps all customers at bay just setting them up for nasty combos. Still a good fight to see either way.

So the fight will be exciting however long it goes and even if he is getting outclassed losing rounds by the more skilled Canelo fans will be on the edge of their seats because he is just 1 shot away from upsetting Canelo.

Lemiuex would be a legit threat to Canelo, but probably loses.

This will not be a light touch up for Canelo. He may need to fight Rosado as a light touch after coming off of a fracture, then a better MW like Eubanks or BJS then GGG. Maybe a fight with Lemieux or Peter Quinn prior to GGG, depending on how active he is in 2017. If struggles against Rosado, then he's not ready for GGG. I don't like Canelo all that much, but I do think he should be able to get 2 or 3 fights at 160 under his belt before going after the top dog of the division.

He had a chance to do that, instead has looked for Khan and Smith.

But I'm sure Canelo's team will try to push it past September saying he didn't have enough time to get ready.

Lemieux has too many weaknesses to beat Canelo the biggest being horrible defense. He gets hit by everything and is very slow. Canelo will Tee off on him at will. He is tailor made for Canelo this will be Kirkland all over again. Lemieux being with Golden Boy definitely makes him one of the front runners for Canelo's next fight. But for all Lemieux's flaws he does have a punchers chance because of his power. EXACTLY!! Plus Canelo's combos have gotten much, much better and varied. He's got both Liam Smith and Khan with punches that they and no one else even saw coming until it was over.

I'm glad quite a few ppl actually think Lemuix would beat him though or even mop the floor with Canelo. My wallet will be saying TY to some poor SAP who bets Lemuix against me...Canelo by KO. Easy fight. Lemuix is sloppy and telegraphs all his punches.

Canelo should rightfully be favored over David as his boxing skills are not there. But if Canelo goes to the ropes which he always does, and his shots don't deter David too much, it may not go too well for Canelo with David ****ing away. But both their stamina sucks so it'll be a matter of attrition probably, unless David gets caught with something he doesn't see coming.
