As for anybody becoming a multiple weight world champ, it depends how you do it and who you beat. Broner is a 4-weight world champ, Ricky Burns is a 3 weight world champ yet Marvin Hagler never moved up but he's considered an ATG. His best wins coming against guys who moved up 2 divisions or more and losing to some journeymen too. I'm not knocking Hagler. I'm just pointing out you can spin things any way you want to suit your agenda.
I'm a Golovkin fan and think he should move up to prove his greatness though. As for Loma, again, it depends on how he does it and who he beats.
Golovkin fans are constantly saying moving up proves nothing, so if Loma wins belts from 126 to 147 it means nothing?
Or are they downplaying it since Golovkin is a coward?
The answer is simple. What is good for other fighters and boxing in general is not good for their fighter. They are downplaying it since Golovkin is a coward.

I do question why Hagler's 5 best opponents started multiple divisions below him.
