From 30 to 40 years of age, B-Hop beat (at 160): John David Jackson, Glen Johnson, Felix Trinidad, William Joppy, Oscar De La Hoya...

he can say whatever he wants regardless of his affiliation with Golden boy

proof is in the pudding, he dared to be great....GGG hasnt done anything to be considered great yet...he is a good fighter for sure
BHop started his career fighting well above 160. He is naturally bigger than Golovkin. He also spent 10 years unifying the MW division and only moved up to LHW after losing twice to Taylor.

Hopkins was a small light heavy then and was when he moved up, its closer to his walk around weight.....he wasnt weighing 158,157, and 159 for many of his title fights because he was huge....he is lean and has a small waist, he was a full time middleweight soon after his first fight...took 16 months lay off

is **** Tiger naturally bigger than GGG..he was 5'7" and fought during the same day weigh in era......any more excuses bro

Leonard and Hearns started at 147 and won titles at 160, 168 and 175

Was mickey walker? he started at welterweight and fought 175ers too

the list goes on bro.....even more recent fighters to start at 154-60 and fight at higher are James Toney, Reggie Johnson, Michael NUNN, Nigel Benn, their are so many.

dont try to belittle, or dilute Hopkins accomplishments because GGG may never do some of the things he has

you dont accomplish things like that without darinf to be great

get you panties out of a bunch
You're not answering his question. You're listing accomplishments, that's not the same as daring to be great.

Hopkins is a unique athlete, and his success in his 40s will probably never be replicated, but I don't think he dared to be great. Floyd dared to be great, Manny, Oscar, JCC Sr, Toney, RJJ, Duran, SRL dared to be great.

Hopkins did not. He moved up when he was 40 years old and was coming off 2 straight defeats.

Hopkins didn't really break thru until he took out Trinidad.
GGG is well on his way to breaking this mans MW title defense record too.

                    your position defies logic
if he was so huge for 160, he wouldnt have stayed there over 15 years lol
