Man Hopkins was hated. Even Black fans couldn't stand him but he turned it around. You protect Golovkin as he fights even worse opponents.Comment

Let's not forget hopkins stayed at mw fighting **** fights for 4 years after getting name recognition for the tito win....a string of hbo appearances against lack luster opposition. Who knows what he would have done if he didn't lose his titles to taylor either...which looks pretty bad for a great to lose to the likes of taylor. There's no way ggg will have the longevity hopkins had...if he moves up it will most likely be for a few big paydays toward the end of his career.Comment

Lol...this forum has broken you. So me saying ggg probably won't move up unless it's for a retirement payday is protecting him? Aren't you saying he should have already moved up? If the criticism is that he hasn't moved up...how is saying that he will continue to stay at mw protecting him?Comment

You seem like you have a paranoid delusion that everyone is a ggg fanboy. I couldn't care less if he moves up or not...as long as he fights the best available opposition. If he can't get canelo, jacobs or bjs...then that's on him if he wants to waste what's left of his career fighting the dominic wades of the world. It's almost too late for him anyway...the decline has already begun.Comment

Gotcha, so Ggg needs name opponents. Well theres Canelo, hed rather disgrace himself than fight Ggg. And he's not even a welter or Lw champ like those guys. Floyd of course wouldn't chance it even at 154. I guess he'll have to settle for all the belts and the Mw defense recordComment

And you can't say Floyd wouldn't "chance" it in his 5th weight class without acknowledging GGG not "chancing" it his whole career.Comment
