margarito would do what Bowe did to larry donald, to pbf at a press conference. big size and power advantage, it hurts when the gloves come off.
yea... tell me something I don't know.

Margarito is getting desperate. He's trying to get hype between PBF and him fighting by confronting Floyd in front of those people. Floyd will fight de la hoya and Margarito will just fade away without beating anybody significant. He could eventually lose to somebody and Floyd woulnd't even fight him then.

Margarito will "just fade away"? It sure doesn't look like it. I wouldn't bet on that. He seems serious, motivated, and looking for big fights. Don't know why anyone would say he'll "just fade away."

Arum said his next fight will be a Showtime main event, or on the undercard of Rahman-Maskaev 2. Which is exactly what he should be doing with the big name fighters avoiding him. He's coming off of some devastating KO wins, too. Not quite fading away yet, is he?

KOs of who? he could fiht Baldomir, Collazo, Hatton....he could even get guys to come up like Vivian Harris or Sharmba Mitchell. Get a win vs someone of decent caliber.

This guy wants a pay day, plain and simple. now he is going around begging for fights.

The guy wants a big fight, yes. He's begging for one of the big names to fight him. Until they will, he has to keep fighting and being impressive on HBO or SHO....which looks to be exactly what he is doing. The guys you mentioned are already locked into a fight?

There's no way in HELL that Harris' people would let him in the ring with Margarito with that weak chin he has. And Mitchell? I doubt Mitchell would be too excited to fight him either.

The problem is that he's a dangerous, tough, big welter and doesn't carry the dollars to compensate other name fighters for the risk (yet). Well, Arum was willing to stick his neck out to the tune of 8 mil for Floyd, but Floyd turned it down. Floyd's next fight will be for less money than that, more than likely, but also less risk. The old "less money, less risk" Roy Jones motto that he adopted towards the end of his career. I think Arum was being overly optomistic of how a Mayweather-Margarito fight would do, but hey- it's his money. Margarito is probably the most respected, dangerous fighter at 147, depending on how Hatton looks against Collazo. That's really the fight Floyd should take if he's looking to live up to his hype and fight the best- he isn't and he isn't.

I'd love a unification tourney with Mayweather, Margarito, Hatton/Collazo and Gatti/Baldomir. Mayweather would probably never enter it or agree to the right money to allow it to happen. Floyd seems hell bent of 8 figs, and is following DLH around like a starving puppy, begging for a bone. Margarito IS starving for a big fight, and if he continues to look that strong and impressive then he will starve before Floyd gets in the ring with him.

Mayweather is looking for the best way to make as much money as he can. I don't believe he is scared of Margarito. He knows he can make a lot of money against DLH, and if Margarito can knock off some more people then it could become a big fight.

The point is that Floyd's excuse about waiting for it to be bigger doesn't hold water. It already is big, from Floyd's perspective- Arum offered him 8 mil guaranteed, remember? I don't see Floyd making more than that to fight anybody other than DLH, or MAYBE Hatton- seeing as how the Brits would come over here like a plague of locusts for Hatton-Mayweather.

He must not be starving for that big payday that bad or he would just fight somebody his own size. That's what everybody else does and then if he wins he could have more leverage to get that PBF fight he wants. He's acting like that's the only person he can fight.

Huh? Margarito is a welter. He weighs in at 147. Any fighter at welter who doesn't want to fight a fighter weighing in at 147 is probably in the wrong division, huh?

Everybody knows that Margorito is big for welter and could easily move up, since he has know leverage or earning power at welter to demand fights. I'm asking why not go up where there are several ppl that would love to fight him and would help in his quest to fight PBF or whoever else he feeels he's "earned" a fight against. It's normal in boxing especially when your not the money man.

Margarito is just frustrated and getting desperate b'cause he can't get a big big fight. And confronting PBF is a crazy thing to do. Is he trying to provoke a scuffle or rumble? It won't work because PBF is not that ****** to ruin his chance to get DLH. There's just too much money in a possible DLH fight so we can't blame PBF for not fighting Margarito now. I'm sure after DLH he'll get his wish.
