Yeah Floyd was saying that he was making a smart business decision and that Margarito should understand that it is business and that when they fight down the line, it would be a much bigger event.

Floyd looked like he was taken aback by it, maybe not intimidated, but he didn't look like he wanted to get into anything heated.

    Round one to Margarito!

PBF is Mr. Nice guy now, if this was PBF from 2 years ago, it would've been heated, he would've really put Margarito down, which is very easy to do.

No one outside our boxing community knows who Margarito is. No average person is going to order a Margarito fight on a Saturday barbeque. Margarito is out of his mind. His last fight what was his opponents record and it was a ppv. He offers much risk for no reward, for a big guy like him who makes 154 so easy.

that's true. Floyd doesn't talk trash anymore to bring hype because people know who he is already. He's done major PPVs and the public is now aware of the #1 P4P fighter in the sport.

Floyd could have easily disrespected Margarito and embarrased him in front of those people verbally right there. It would have been easy to do too considering that Margarito is a no name that hasn't beaten anybody and not even close to Mayweather's level.

Floyd is now a nice guy generating good publicity.

Well, first, Mayweather does not want to get into anything that might sideline him for a potential DLH fight. Oscar doesn't even know if he wants to fight and the signs are that he might not fight Floyd. The negotiations for that fight are very tough and you have a four month window for it to happen.

Floyd needs to answer why he hasn't fought a physical fighter like Castillo or Margarito since those Castillo fights.

If the DLH fight can be made, it's the best thing for Floyd and a huge event for boxing, but Margarito has to figure in that very soon afterwards for Floyd or it is going to start taking the piss.

                  Floyd was all business although:

He was, in my best estimation a bit intimidated by Tony.

Gomez hadn't lost in 8 years and 12 fights.
