If Jay Nady wasn't such an incompetent ref then a past him prime Barrera has a draw or 1 point loss to an arguably prime Marquez on my card.

For some reason the judges had that a wide decision when it was as close as a fight can get round by round.

This is a tough one. I go back and forth between Morales and Barrera, but Marquez knocked Manny out at his apex.

The fight was close but JMM won it even with uncalled knockdown. JMM had better career and faced better fighters and knocked out champions like Corallez and Pacquiao.

                Lmao at this poll

How is barrera getting trounced by morales when barrera beat his ass 3 times in their prime

                1 marquez
                2 barrera
                3 morales

They are all very close to each other, but marquez had more longevity, and had more success at higher weights, plus he was never blown out by manny like morales and barrera were

This is a very tough question because I think a strong argument can be made for any of the 3 as the best.

It's so close that I'm gonna go with a guy who I liked more than the other two (and honestly that's a pretty bad reason), but anyway I'm going with Morales.

Truly feel like there is no wrong answer here.

That bottom line isn't true because by the time JMM even became a semi-name at FW, Barrera and Morales weren't even at the weight.

In terms of LW, what did he clear out exactly? He had 3 fights at the weight ,2 against the same guy, one against a faded Katsidis, who was hardly a world beater in his prime anyway.

This is not to say Marquez was bad. He was a terrific fighter, one of the very best this century but there are levels of achievements, history and glory and Morales/MAB trump Marquez in that aspect.

Like I said, no one would even know who JMM is if Pac didn't keep giving him paydays.

Agreed, which makes him the second best, because Barrera beat Morales twice and then has the Naz win along with a couple other HOFers or soon to be HOFers.
