How was Pacquiao the best when he arguably lost 4 times to Marquez?

Barrera's high points were pretty amazing and stick in my mind more than anything else the 3 have done. But, Morales might have a higher number of great fights. Picking Eric or Marco makes total sense to me. Juan isn't far behind at all.

Good poll, i dont think there is a wrong answer, mexicans and boxing fans all over must be proud of these 3 guys.

I have to go with "El Terrible." In his day at 122, 126 and 130, he was great to watch and had tons of skills. He also made fights entertaining at the expense of a longer career. However, it is very close. Barrera and Marquez belong right beside him.

In their primes, I see Barrera and Morales both winning decisions over Marquez at the lower weights of course. Neither was very good above 130 and Marquez would beat them there. In their primes, though, I think Barrera doesn't fall for his traps and lands the better punches while Morales outboxes him without getting into enough brawls to do damage. Both would be close, though.

All great. Warriors, champs and all stand for what's best in boxing.
But the "Baby Faced Assassin" gets my vote.

JMM - faced better fighters, beat better fighters, move up in weight higher, performed great even past his prime.

Morales is second on that list - great fighter, however, Zaheer Raheem beat him up pretty bad every second of every round and didn't fight good past his prime

Barrera is a quitter - quit against Manny, second fight played it safe and that's another quit in my book. I am not sure if he quit against Junior Jones 2 or if the ref stopped it. Great fighter but him quitting like that makes him third on the list.

Don't forget Morales quitting against Pacquiao in the third fight. That was embarrasing watching him stay down when so many other boxers go out on their shield.

I only give him a pass for this one cause his body didn't look right, it seemed like he was only able to make the weight for the fight. He didn't look like a fighter in that fight to me and we know boxing is dirty.

Barrera on the other hand when he quit he always looked great physically so no excuses for him. I am not saying just cause he quit a couple of times he's not an all great but when you compare him to Marquez he comes behind. JMM got knocked down 3 times in the first round against Pacman broken nose and everything and came back to win the majority of the remaining rounds. Barrera didn't even hit the floor against Pacman and quit. No comparison.
