Canelo's Punching Power Is Overrated... Gif study

Feet wide apart. Puncher's stance with max leverage. Cotto in the middle of throwing a punch, does not see the shot coming as he's moving forward, Canelo has full wind-up on the punch. hits nothing but that sweet chin.

    does not even wobble Cotto.

    just LMAO

There's better ways to worship Golovkin than to pretend Canelo can't KO a guy. You're just telling everyone that you DKSAB. That's not max leverage when you're quickly throwing a shot before ducking. Criticize his ducking MW or something that is actually based in reality.

You lack boxing knowledge i see..his feet are wide so that he can avoid the incoming punch by placing the weight on his backfoot and rolling under..that is excellent defense...The shot was not meant to be a ko blow...That was great ring generalship....Learn the sport son

He has power, just not as much as some people hype it up to be. And hes not really a power puncher anyway hes a wannabe floyd lol. He doesnt even fight with a true mexican style.

His power is a little overrated, but that gif proves nothing other than Canelo can pull off a counter uppercut from the outside.

Canelo hits hard, just not the power punching machine that some people make him out to be.

I don't think you can judge anyone on skill level with how terrible you are on the bag lol.
You're no better than him so don't pretend to be anything more.

Accuracy matters more than power in boxing. He hit him at such an angle that didn't really turn Cotto's head enough to jolt the brain.

If you watch a guy like Kovalev who seems to have freak power he is very accurate, sometimes he doesn't even have his feet under him so his power can't be THAT high but he knows how to turn a chin.
