I'm totally OK with the Pay scale going backwards. Fans complain about guys only fighting 1 or 2 times a year well if the Pay Scale goes backwards problem solved guys will have NO CHOICE but to get more active to maintain their life styles.

Reaching Mayweather and Pacquiao Paydays takes YEARS to achieve, that is not something that happens overnight I think it is time for some FIGHTERS to learn the HARD WAY. They been a bit spoiled especially a lot of guys under Haymon!

Only Mcgregors UFC fights are hight the rest are in the 300. Plus do you believe Boxing number are not fake? UFC puts on competitive fights because they are FORCE to fight the top contender. UFC makes the decicio es not the fighters. No cherrypicking.

From what I've read on some sites, Haymon's money has either ran out, or the money men behind him have all but turned off the faucet. Lewkowicz didn't mention that specifically, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's what he was mainly referring to.

Fighters were demanding insane paychecks because of Pac/Floyd mania (which turned out to be a dud compared to a 3rd rate UFC card and turned millions of casual fans away from boxing for a generation) and PBC (which was obviously luring fighters away from rival brands as a business tactic and couldn't keep operating at a loss forever).

Not sad if we see the "5 million dollars to beat up your sparring partner" era come to a close. Boxers taking no-hope warmup opponents is nothing new, but being paid millions of dollars for it with no incentive at all (sometimes even a pay cut) to step up is pretty new.

Funny how promoters, especially fighters who turn promoters, start saying fighters were over-payed, and now things must go back to normal. What's normal? Don King robbing Tyson? Muhammad Ali dying broke? Joe Louis dying broke? Joe Frazier dying broke? Are we trying to "Make Boxing Great Again?"
