his resume is none too impressive and he has 7 losses. but gatti is good for boxing. hes a fearless warrior who gives the fans a good show while showing the heart and sportsmanship of a champion.

Doesnt have much skill to him, but he puts on a show and is good for boxing. Not a very talented fighter overall though. Just entertainment. He's there for Atlantic City and HBO to make money off casual fans who like wars and brawlers. He just makes them money, isnt a great fighter though from a tatical stand point.

I think Gatti has earned a little more credit than that. He outboxed Tracy Harris Patterson twice and Ko`ed Dorin in 2 rounds. He can box to a moderate level, not exceptional. He can also **** with with either hand. Gatti has bigger fan attendance than most heavyweights and even though he may lose to the elite in boxing he always puts on an exceptional show. He transcends titles, governing bodies and even victories as he brings entertainment and excitement to the sport!

Does he jab and go to the body? Yes. Does he move his head and keep his hands held high? Not really. SO he does box, just not proficiently against top guys. He can punch though. He has morphed into a solid boxer-puncher beginning with the Ward fights and he really showed that off against guys like Leija, Dorin, and Branco.
