his resume is none too impressive and he has 7 losses. but gatti is good for boxing. hes a fearless warrior who gives the fans a good show while showing the heart and sportsmanship of a champion.

Give him this as people try to compare him and RIcardo Mayorga. What did Mayorga do after losses to Trinidad and Oscar? He pouted and stormed off with hsi tail between his legs refusing to give an interview. What did Gatti do after the pummelling against Mayweather? He stayed in the ring and was accountable for his loss talking to HBO even though he was embarrassed. Its a matter of class that separates the two

No, he doesn't win every fight and no, he's not the best guy out there but he makes entertaining fights and he brings people in to see fights. I know people who don't know or care about boxers who have better records than him but who will see one of Gatti's fights.

gatti is the reason i started boxing, got into watching the actual sport and is the most motivating fighter i believe, hes the reason why i like boxing overall
