What's A Better Win for Andre Ward, Froch or Kovalev?

I've seen people on this forum constantly talk down on Showtime Super 6. NSB likes to re-write history to make it seem like Froch/Kessler/Abraham were "Euro Bums"!.

Carl Froch is one of Britians finest Boxers ever & in my opinion his resume takes a dump over Kov's. What do you think though?

    Carl 'The Cobra' Froch (SMW)
    7.55%
    4
    Kovalev The Krusher (LHW)
    92.45%
    49

    The poll is expired.

Kovalev is much better. He's more dangerous and in a higher division.

Froch is so overrated. 2/3 of his best wins GGG demolished in the amateurs yet gets NO respect for them.

Froch was a great fighter but never elite. Kovalev is elite.

Maybe to idiots who don't actually respect the sport as a whole. Amateur very much does count. It's not the be all end all but it's a huge part of the sport. A weak amateur system is the current reason for a pretty pathetic selection of US fighters.

elite means a part of an exclusive group, the best etc

Froch was the definition of elite at 168

he could compete with the best (Ward) and beat the rest...Bute, Kessler, Abraham, Pascal(who he beat years before Kov) etc

Froch beat on J Taylor, Pascal and Dirrels over half a decadee ago. Kovalev just finished his business with Pascal this year. Further more he just fought Isaac Chilemba, who was Tony Bellews problem how long ago?.
I like Kovalev but come fight night I think we see a gulf in quality.

Kovalev may be in a division above but he hasn't mixed with prime opponents the way Carl Froch did. Is that fair to say?.

respecting the sport has nothing to do with facts

you can be the greatest amatuer of all time and be a ho hum pro and lose to guys you beat in the ams

Ams have no reflection on pro results considering Many fighters, get stronger, learn more techniques or become flat out better

Tyson and others destroyed guys in the pros that they lost to in the ams

i find it funny you insult american fighters but the facts are the USA has several elite fighters and world champions.......Keith thurman, Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia, Ward, Wilder, Gary Russell, Raushee Warren, etc.

Also more times than not, the best fighter of every era is an american...now its up in the air...before it was floyd....before that Jones....before that whitaker....before him Hagler and Leonard....and so on

Carl Froch was an elite world level fighter. 2nd only to Ward @ 168

They beat everyone to face each other in the final?...
