GGG is already 35 having wasted so many years of his prime fighting bums for low pay and don't have many more years left in the game to waste by trying to nickle and dime when you the B side. Canelo is only 26 has a better resume and already makes more money and is a bigger draw. He got nothing but time on his hands. Hell if GGG was smart he could of had the fight in 2016 just by agreeing to a catchweight. Now he has a fight in 2017 that he might literally delay or throw away because 5X what he made against Lemieux isn't good enough (a PPV that flopped by the way)? These idiots at K2 went to the Winky Wright school of boxing business.

“Golovkin said he takes great pride in boxing, that it’s not about money, that he’s willing to fight. He said we’d make a weak offer,” Gomez said. “We have all these deal points on the table and we’re not getting an answer.
GGG first said they would low ball him with a 2m offer. Instead they multiplied that by 5. He made only 2mil in the only fight he's ever had on HBO PPV. GGG first held the fight up over weight refusing to go down even though he said for years he would go to 154 or 168. Now he says no 2mil low ball offer and they offer him 5X that and by far the biggest career payday of his career. There is a reason why GGG hasn't had any relevant fights and it's because he's got idiots managing his career. Will turn down all that money to keep fight bums like Wade. Remember a few months back when GGG said he's not a businessman? LMAO

6mil vs khan ($3.5mil guaranteed + ppv)
7mil vs cotto (5 mil guaranteed + ppv
vs smith (3.5mil guaranteed +ppv (not much))
GGG
1.5ml vs monroe
2.mil vs lemiux (1.5 + ppv)
2 mil vs wade no ppv
5 mil vs brooke no ppv
$10 mill flat fee guaranteed , looks pretty darn good to me.

Im not Golovkin's financial advisor, so I really don't care but so much what the split is. I think 70-30 is reasonable. At the same time, Id rather see the fight happen than to see another Floyd-Manny fiasco dragging out for years. I think whatever is agreed upon, the split/fee/purse/whatever should be the same in the rematch in the winner's favor. So if GGG accepts $10M and wins, then Canelo should get $10M for the rematch. I just want to see the damn fight. I think GGG beats the sh it out that boy. Make it fu©king happen!

Canelo's team pricing their cash-cow out. Lame as phuck. What was the Smith buys? 300k? A-side my ass. Canelo may have been the big draw but the situation has been so mismanaged by Golden Boy it's no longer true. Make the fight 30% for each fighter with a bonus 40% to the winner. Easy! Oh yeah... and... grow a pair.
