Golovkin, after his camp ran their mouth about "154-168", tried to publicly talk his way into having Andre Ward come down to 164lbs to fight, and no Golovkin fan had much to say about that.

Alvarez's actions have already shown that he can give two ****s about wanting to be middleweight champion, so holding onto the belts, as if the belts had any bearing on the negotiations is laughable (if Alvarez ends up choosing not to fight Billy Joe Saunders for his WBO belt, there's no doubt that the IBF and WBC will have mandatory challengers in place by the time that September 2017 comes around).

Alvarez wants to fight Golovkin, and he doesn't care about picking up Golovkin's trinkets.

Let me put it this way and maybe you GGG fans will understand. Come next May and Sept, Canelo will be fighting on PPV with or without Golovkin. Golovkin has no PPV fights without Canelo. How does GGG deserve more than what he's offered if he can't even put on a PPV fight by himself? These people are delusional.
