obviously the easy answer to this would be no chavez but honestly marquez is at least in the discussion in a serious way. one thing marquez did do is give mexico its greatest moment when he put pac to sleep after the mexican people felt he was robbed the first 3 fights. hard to argue again chavez but marquez is for sure right there.
Edit: i guess chavez last second KO of meldrick taylor was arguably mexicos biggest boxing moment. interesting how they both have such dramatic ko wins in fights they were on the way to losing
