He was masterclassed by Floyd & schooled by Bradley. Come on.
He isn't greater than Barrera or Morales
He definitely is. Even fighting Floyd and Bradley is a testament to how great he was. Not every loss takes a way from a fighter. He sure as hell wasnt schooled by Bradley. Most people had it 7-5 for Bradley. Some evem had it a draw or Marquez edging him. But nice try.

The way he would answer back was second to none. Whenever Anybody got off a good combo on him he would come back right away. Nothing for free.

Not to mention he would of beat the living **** of Chavez Sr at 135/140. He would out him like Pernell but make him pay worse when he misses. Marquez thrived on guys who would come right at him.

He was the true embodiment of a "Mexican Warrior" even more so than guys modern guys like Chavez, Morales, and Barrera. The first Pacquiao fight is a great example, after getting dropped 3 times and suffering a broken nose he fought back and very easily could have earned a decision.

I was agreeing with your post until I read your name... GTFO of here fanboy.

Even without Paquiao he was a 4 division champ and the oldest lineal lightweight of all time.. He'd still be a HOF fighter regardless, the Pacquiao fights cemented his status as an ATG.

He's one of my favorites to watch. The first Pacquiao fight was one of my favorites. Would have loved to seen how he fared against Hamed.

Robbed in most of his losses. Counter punching genious with the heart of a true warrior. Never let a ferocious volume power puncher like Manny punk him.

His fights with Manny, Casamayor, Katsiditis, and Juan Diaz are stuff of legend. Even the Barrera fight was good even though that was Barrera at the tail end.

Prince Naseem ducked him. Took the dark horse ride in boxing. Fought for him. ****ing gangster.
He's not #1, That goes to Chavez, and then Salvador Sanchez. Then comes Marquez.
