Here's the simple truth. Canelo is 26 and proven ppv seller for HBO. Ggg is 34 and not a proven ppv seller. Ggg will never see that type of money ever for the rest of his career which is 3-4 years tops. Canelo is young and has the backing of HBO to sell whatever bs ppv he wants to put on because he brings in mexican fans. Ggg has mexican fans but they don't buy his ppv's. Canelo can wait out Ggg and fight the next big boxing star because time is on his side. Ggg has maybe 2-3 big fights left in his career which will not generate anywhere close to him fighting Canelo. Canelo can literally fight anyone he wants and sell it.

Canelo is not in a great position right now.

It appears as though there's a good chance of him landing Jacobs and BJS next. If that happens and he's successful he'll hopefully fight Canelo. If not, he can move up to SMW.

Just because he hasn't moved up yet it doesn't mean he won't ever move up.

GGG will be 35 next year and needs Canelo or would need to move up..Canelo will be 27 next year..he has a lifetime ahead of him in boxing..Do i want to see the fight?? HELL YES!!!...but GGG's team need to cut the **** and just except the damn terms to ensure the fight happens

GG's performance against Brook has given BJS and Jacobs a huge confidence boost.

BJS will now get a lot more in a big unification fight in the U.K.

Canelo will not fight BJS before GG. Because he's out injured at the moment and Oscar will want him to have at least one test the water type fight. Oscar would never put him in the ring with BJS at this stage. BJS is a very talented fighter and he could throw a huge spanner in the works of a potential GG fight.

Hate to say it but the MW division freaking SUKS!!!! Only 1 guy PPV worthy and he did $150K PPV buys!

154 is WAY MORE STACKED!!! And a bunch of VERY talented BIG 147lbers can EASILY make 154.

160 offer 1 BIG PPV fight against a guy who thinks he's WORTH WAYYYY TOO MUCH!!!

154 doesnt' have the HIGH PPV ceiling but has WAY more CONSISTENT PPV worthy fights!
