Canelo only 26 and can fight anyone and it will be a big deal and on ppv. Let GGG waste his career away fighting bums like wade. He will never step up his competition because they will always find a new excuse to kill fights. Worst resume of any so called top fighter and he's 35 already. If he was the top fighter with top rank, golden boy, haymon his career would be way better off. K2 look like a joke
Wade was a mandatory ******.
He's now targeting Jacobs and it has a good chance of happening next.
BJS is also now willing to come to the table.
Where does Canelo go from here? He ain't fighting Andrade is he? And if he gives the belt up, he'll have to move up to MW or get ridiculed. He's also injured. So paint me a picture. What if GG obtains Jacobs and BJS' belts? Then what? GG would have all of the belts and who else at MW could Canelo fight? The pressure to fight GG will be unbearable.
Now tell me how the **** he's trying to a kill a fight by asking for an overal, percentage? That overall percentage can be in Canelo's favour.
You probably think Floyd was being genuine with his flat fee to Manny.
You think K2 have been the roadblock since day 1? Ha! GTFOH.
This forum is a cesspit.

Yes, $10m is BS if Canelo was to earn 4-5 that amount, when he can't make that against anyone else, and they'll be fighting for GG's belts.
There's nothing wrong with Canelo getting the bigger share. But no promoter/manager on this planet is going to accept a flat fee for a fight of this magnitude that will be one of the biggest grossing fights of all time.
It's really not that hard to understand.
Think about it.Last edited by icha; 09-21-2016, 10:07 PM.

I'm a BIG Triple G fan and feel that Canelo's team have avoided him, but in this case he should just take the 10 mill, beat the crap out of him and move on to other fights. manny's team was able to negotiate a % because Manny was a huge PPV star in his own right, something that Golovkin can't claim at this stage.
Loeffler isn't playing this one smart IMHO.
