Now you see who the real one making this fight difficult. First refused to drop weight (154 or 168 doe ) now that weight is settled he's pricing himself out of his biggest payday. LMAO
How the **** do you know whether or not his team has priced themselves out?

    You don't know ANYTHING!

All you know is that they want a percentage of the total revenue instead of a flat fee. SMH.

GGG will offer fair terms as always and if Canelo stops ducking him, Canelo will agree to fair terms and they will fight each other. This is like when Flom0s said Pacquiao should just take the flat $40 mil. No, just because one fighter is ducking doesn't put the responsibility on the other fighter to just give in to ridiculous demands to appease a ducking fighter.

As boxing fans we need to reorient the way we think a little bit and get back to reality. Start blaming the ducking fighters, not the ones being ducked. If Canelo makes GGG a lowball offer, we can't blame GGG for not taking the lowball offer, we need to blame Canelo for making lowball offers designed to keep the fight from happening.

In short, when one fighter clearly wants the fight, and one fighter clearly does everything possible to avoid the fight, we need to blame the fighter who is doing everything possible to avoid the fight. Until he fights GGG, Team Canelo deserves all the blame, as has already been established when he said he would fight GGG after Cotto, but fought Khan instead, then said he would fight GGG after Khan, but dropped the belt instead. That's already two clear ducks so that's where the blame lies.

GGG to his credit is now chasing after someone potentially more dangerous than Canelo, in Danny Jacobs. Canelo ducks him so he just moves on to an even bigger threat, always willing to face the best guys who will face him. That's to be commended.
Golovkin/K2 got an offer for $10m for the fight, only to now turn around and ask for 40% of the pot, lol.

And Alvarez is the one holding up the fight? gtfoh

He will never make a fight fans give a phuk about. Finds a new way to kill any fight unless he's a 10 to 1 favorite to win it.
There's been actual proof of Sturm avoiding to fight Triple G, Cotto giving step aside money and BJS and Jacobs saying they aren't ready. This isn't made up.

Yes an undercard fighter. He was on Floyd's undercard up until almost the Trout fight. He was going to be on Floyd's undercard then too but Floyd of course wouldn't agree to fight him next in writing, since Floyd never wanted to commit to fighting any dangerous fighters, so Canelo decided to break free. Yes he sold a lot of tickets to Mexicans in Texas but he had never headlined a PPV before. GGG has and did over 100k buys which is twice what Terence Crawford could do, and more than Canelo had done at that time.

You can argue who was a bigger star, Canelo pre-Floyd fight, or GGG now, but there's no question at that time Floyd was a bigger PPV star than Canelo is now. You can't even argue that one and I'm sure you won't try.

And you don't know how big a star GGG will be by next September either. He gets more known every year. What if he beats Jacobs in December, becomes undisputed against Saunders in February, fights say Chavez Jr in May and knocks him out? Knocks out a Mexican star at a higher weight class 168? Or beats Gilberto Ramirez? If GGG knocks out Chavez Jr, becomes undisputed champ, potentially breaks Hopkins record too (is he within two? I'm not sure have to look that up), and beats Danny Jacobs the #2 middleweight, you don't think he will be a much bigger star by then than he even is now?

That's the point. We don't even know what GGG will be worth by next September yet, which is why no one negotiates a flat fee 12 months in advance, which is why we know GBP's offer is bull****.

You know the other reason I know the offer was bull**** and Oscar wants to delay the fight until September 2017 at the earliest? Because Oscar said so:

"I have been clear that Canelo will fight Golovkin at 160 pounds and we have a verbal agreement to do it in the fall of 2017. But in the meantime, Canelo is going to build up to being a true middleweight. The plan is to face Smith, a big, bruising 154-pounder, and if Canelo emerges victorious, to start making his way up to 160 pounds and fight Golovkin on equal turf (in terms of weight)."

De La Hoya then laid out his plan.

"We envision Canelo doing a third fight in 2016 either at or close to the middleweight limit and then a fight (in May) on Cinco De Mayo at 160 before facing Golovkin in the fall," De La Hoya said.

... they're pricing themselves out of the fight right now, lol

I used to blame Canelo for the fight not being made but the refusal of GGG to negotiate weigh and now acting like he deserved almost 50% of the PPV/money is ludicrous, People needs to hold GGG accountable for this fight not happening.

I'll say to Canelo give them the middle finger and go separate ways.

Golovkin fans are delusional. 10+ mil and PPV upside is a lowball offer? This is a regualr HBO fighter that gets $2 mil we're talking about here. How the **** is paying him over 5x he makes lowball.

GG is on the rise, Canelo isn't. He may not even fight again this year and he'll probably vacate his WBO belt. If he does that, he'll definitely move up to 160 next year or he'll get ridiculed. Now the signs are looking good for GG being able to secure the Jacobs and BJS fights. So by this time next year, it's possible that GG could own all of the MW belts. So tell me where that would leave Canelo? Who else could he fight at MW? He wouldn't be giving anybody the middle finger because he would be under ENORMOUS pressure to fight GG. Sure, Canelo draws a crowd. But GG would have a lot of leverage and he will have a much bigger fan base this time next year. Canelo is not in a great position at the moment.

Asking for the same deal Manny got when you not Manny and can't even get on HBO PPV is pricing yourself out. He can't even get fights in vegas and has to beg uk fighters. Lame delusional ggg fans. He's the BBB side and ducking. He just wants more wade mismatches ol 35 year old hype boy needs more bums to feast on.
