Yup. He needs to fight anyone at this point, get names and keep winning.

It's a shame.. Should have been a decent fight. Hughie needs to find a top 20 guy if he wants to get some recognition..

Ruiz needs to leave this boxing thing alone.

Is there some reason that the writer of the article or someone on Fury's team didn't even bother to ask a simple three letter question to Ruiz: "Why?"

Derric Rossy or Malik Scott would be my choice. Both can box & go rounds. I'd consider David Price or Dillian Whyte as well. Erkan Teper has a fight with Christian Hammer coming so he is not eligible but what about Robert Helenius or Johann Duhaupas? Manuel Charr? There are fights that can be made. I know Duhaupas beat Charr on 4 weeks notice. Jarrell Miller has been crying about getting bigger fights so why maybe Salita should offer up Miller. He's in the top 15 in the WBO. Someone in the WBO top 15 would probably step in on 4-5 weeks notice if it's in a final eliminator. David Haye?

Haye would wipe him out and Dillian is to big for him, Hughie needs to develope more power or he doesnt keep guys like them off him ,they arent slow either . Miller is slow but again hes been around the block and a huge HW.......maybe to huge ,Hughie could out point him 50/50 ,but look what he did to a guy that Hughie was struggling some what with . Price has been decked but those guys were considered decent punchers except Teper but ??? Do you throw Hughie in there with a guy like Price who has true power after the Kassi fight? These are all things to consider of future opposition ,i think he needs to step it up 2 or 3 fights from now......particularly carrying Fury name ,opponents are going to train harder for him.

At the end of the day its Peter who will get him the best possible guy he has the least likely risk of losing too ...out of the eligible names you mentioned i would go with Teper or Hammer .Hughie hasnt fought active enough and if i was Peter that would be my picks Malik Scott seems to be the best safe eligible fighter.

Miller, Price or Whyte would be interesting.

Miller or Whyte would talk a lot and help to sell the fight.
