Come on now...according to peter, Hughie is better than Joshua ....he would have Ortiz shaking in his boxing shoes come fight time. Then reality would set in and Ortiz wins 3rd round k.o.
Hugie desperately needs a step up. Not that a Ruiz fight was all that meaningful but it sure was better than nothing, which is what we have now.
That would have been an opponent that could give him some rounds,Hughie is going to find it difficult if he goes up a level with the harder hitting better fighters out there. Not really sure who can fight that gives him a bit of a fight but a non threat as well?

He's green enough that he could definitely spend a couple more years growing but I think, career-wise, now is the time to strike, while the iron is hot. His brother is a big name, the division suddenly has a lot of interest with the fans. He might need time but could end up missing a lot of opportunities.
