    GBP sent GGG an offer

To accept their terms and sign a contract for a fight that wouldn't happen for at least another year, then went public complaining about it when GGG didn't sign.

I wonder where Oscar got that idea from?

GGG doesn't have a voice in negotiations. "signing" is done by the Three Wise Men; Abel, Loeffler, and the single "Herman Brothers."

If you're talking about Ward and Kovalev, the contract they signed last year was with HBO, not with each other.

I am a big fan of Canelo but I can't stand Oscar. He is a greedy liar. I never heard of negotiations for a fight being made a full year before the fight is supposed to actually happen. Canelo won't make Oscar near as much money if GGG beats him. If GGG knocks him out then Canelo's money making potential goes down even more. Oscar is scared of this fight until GGG has gone down hill a lot from age. The fight is about as big right now as it's ever going to get. Canelo is full grown and as big as he is ever going to be. He doesn't need practice fights to fight at 160. Oscar is stalling but he wants the public to think he is sincerely trying to make this fight but GGG won't take his generous offer. Meanwhile nobody knows the details of this offer. I think Khan got paid a lot more money to fight Canelo than Oscar is offering GGG.

so GBP made an offer for most money he ever made. GGG and his team said no because the offer is for a year from now and most likely he figures he will get more down the road.

BS from both sides. No fight.

You guys are confused about what an "offer" is? An offer comes after a deal is close to be agreed to after numerous discussions, meetings, number crunching, etc.

There have been and will be discussions between the parties. In normal business practices, an official offer would not have been made yet...and if an email about deal points is considered an offer rejected, by running to the media, I really don't know what kind of business these guys are running. It is a very amateurish tactic that never works.

Let's get Golovkin-Jacobs made and worry about Canelo after.

Reminds me of when Oscar was constantly taking **** about Mayweather not fighting the best and how the fans deserve the best fighting the best.

                  Worse than Don King

GBP spokesman: "We have made an offer, we made the offer thirty days ago .... Canelo has said to us he will sign the contract the minute 'Triple G' agrees."
