Too much holding shows lack of confidence. And skill to oneself.

It only show a serious lack of skill. I respect a guy with a great defense and excellent footwork, but all too often, fans try to say a guy who runs and holds is great at both, when he just isn't. He's holding because he can't fight on the inside. He'd running and leaping away from shots because he has no fundamentals as far as footwork and feinting to put the opponent where he wants them. A lack of knowledge and skill overall, which is annoying to say the least. Derrick Gainer is a prime example of this. Just watch his fight with Marquez. Gainer showed speed but not really any skills or heart for that matter.

A boxer is holding coz his skill is limited. Holding is a desperate act of survival. It's the easiest way to get away from a tight fix. Refs that allow this are either paid off or just plain ****** not to notice this isn't allowed in boxing.

A boxer should try to get away from a pickle by boxing, bobbing, weaving, slip, sliding, rolling with the punches, feinting, countering, while holding is a form of desperation and is very amateur given they are suppose to be Pros. Boxers are expected to fight/punch and block punches with their ability to evade punches through defense and not by lame holding.

One thing we can all agree on Larry. The consensus about this fight is that it was a stinker of a fight.

Larry, DO you blame the guy who came in tried to chase a guy and tried to make the fight exciting as he pushed the action as he chase Floyd from pillar to post? Or the guy who wanted to run, hug, and hide for 12 rounds for an energy diffusing borefest?

What I'm saying is if there is one guy who needs to redeem himself for all his *****ness that night. It's Floyd. It will always will be. The world felt ripped off for such a low key energy diffusing marathon event. Were in one wanted to fight, and one wanted to escape and went on survival mode in the biggest night of his life.

TO close, Nachos thoughts About this anticlimactic fight. This should give you perspective of Floyd's actions that night that left us with a stinker of a fight.

Nacho about Floyd: The kid caved. Over defensive on the most important fight of his life.

"He knew he was supported by the judges to give a luck luster fight."

"He (floyd) lost so much credibility"

"the only one throwing punches was Pacquiao"

"how can they gave the rounds to a guy who even looks ridiculous running away scared?"

"or giving hugs to turn off the fight?"

May Pac was the worst thing that could happen to boxing, every casual bought that PPV and they realized boxing is Trash, boxing is horrible. You have one small, old guy who tried, and you have one bigger old guy who ran and won one of the worst stinkers in boxing history.

TBE?! The Bestrunner Ever!!!Hugging and running is called boxing?!How can you hit Mayweather when he is running fast like a ferrari?!LOL!!! Nothing to be proud of really. All that was an exercise of how to rip of boxing fans of their hard earned money.

Let me clear this up.... First off, mayweather did not outbox manny! Who got hurt more in that fight???? It sure wasnt manny that got hurt, tucking into a shell against the rope a couple of times!!! In fact manny was NEVER hurt by any shot by mayweather, that threw 62% of punches were jabs! a fight is judged by the following:

            1. Clean power punching - manny
            2. Effective Aggressiveness - manny
            3. Ring generalship - floyd
            4. Defense - floyd

The fight, in my opinion, looked like a DRAW! But to say floyd out boxed manny is just Crazy. Their fight was the most technical boxing match ive ever seen. Thats why they are the TOP dogs of the sport!!!!!! I enjoyed it and i hope they fight again without the Shoulder and IV scandals!!!!!!

These are the facts i gathered from manny's shoulder excuse:

            1. 2 weeks prior before the fight had taken place, freddy said in an article on ************, that "we are not gunna spar the last 2 weeks, we are just going to work on manny's left hand"!!!!

            2. Fight night, why would manny ask for a cortizone shot BEFORE the fight?

            3. How can you stage a fake operation from a REAL DR at a REAL HOSPITAL?

IDK but im still not convinced, if manny got paid and was told to say that shoulder excuse, here are facts that go with it:

            1. Why did he stop punching floyd when he got caught with a big shot and was on the ropes getting hammered? If a person runs alot and is hard to hit, the ropes is where you want to try and takeout your opponent right???

            2. How in the **** are you able to still throw and raise your right arm if you so called torn your rotator cuff??

Now on to floyd's IV scandal:

            1. Why and how on God's green earth do you get a TUE granted 18 days AFTER the fight????

            2. Why do you need an IV in the first place and why wasnt it administered by a doctor? He had someone from his team give it to him!

            3. To "supposedly" rehydrate, you only need 50ml of saline and thats the only amount thats allowed to be taken! BUT floyd used 750ml of the vitamins and saline and that has been proven to mask or dilute other substances that was taken!!!! You dont need a 700ml IV! Why take it?? No excuses on that!!!!

The verdict is, this fight was staged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So much controversy in this fight and yet one guy has no clue he needs to redeem himself from that IV gate scandal.

Not to mention as you clearly put out. Nothing was concluded that night. No exclamation point on who was the better man that night.

Pac has a solid case he outgunned Floyd to with one Healy arm.

This is a candidate for he or of rivalry that rematch is made.. Especially great rivals do 2-3 fights to conclude who's a better man.

And yet IV man rather be a promoter. How convenient lol he knows the con is out. His hand picked Vegas judges, referee , drug testing body, and nsac will have a hard time swing him in a sequel.

After all, evidence points to Pac with one healthy arm was already too much for Floyd.

            Case in point

            Exhibit 1.

              May 3, 2015:

LAS VEGAS -- Floyd Mayweather stands alone.

              Unified welterweight world champion.

              The pound-for-pound best.

              And king of the era.

Mayweather turned in a vintage performance as he outboxed Manny Pacquiao in a brilliant display to win a unanimous decision in one of the biggest fights in boxing history before a sold-out and star-studded crowd of 16,507 on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena...

The massively hyped fight, more than five years in the making, became a global event. While it was not the drama-filled battle many had hoped for, it was an impressive performance from Mayweather, the master boxer, who never allowed the more powerful Pacquiao to deliver any truly big punches as he pulled away in the second half of the fight...

More significantly, Mayweather won the legacy fight, stamping himself as the best fighter of an era he and Pacquiao have shared and dominated.

Still, "playing injured is part of the landscape, it's part of what you do," said Atlas. "Boxers fight through things. Sometimes, you're not 100 percent; you rarely are. Floyd probably fights with sore hands. If Pacquiao had won, would we have heard this?"

Atlas pointed out that when Pacquiao was able to get in close and land on Mayweather in the fourth round, "I didn't see any problem with his right hand then. I saw him attacking.

"I don't know for sure (about the injury), but what I did see evidence of was that Manny was hesitant of getting inside. Did I see him hesitate because he kept getting hit with right hands and jabs? I was saying all week the key to the fight was Floyd's right hand. Is all of that connected to Manny's right shoulder? No..."

But for those fight fans who were disappointed that they didn't see a knock-down, drag-out brawl, Atlas said they should've known better because of Mayweather's history.

"What did they expect? People who are born round don't die square. Floyd is a very cautious and conservative fighter," Atlas said. "If you appreciate defensive boxing -- like if you appreciated Greg Maddux, who threw 80 miles per hour, changed speeds, hit corners instead of watching home runs fly out of the park -- that's fine.

"But be aware of what you're getting. It's like going to a Rolling Stones concert and then complaining that they were old."

Pacs defense was amazing. Slipping & blocking & countering floyd with precise shot. The moment floyd throws his strong jab, pac was already flying his left. Floyds defense was off way off which i was baffled. He got countered & was getting hit when he was supposed to be best counterpuncher fighter. And his offense was not there. His dad said he was fighting scared which best describe his offense, nada nothing coz he was too scared to throw those hands.

The only time floyd threw punches was a distance shot he makes sure when he throws that jab, pac is a 1mile away so he could see those punches coming. lol Floyd would have done better if he threw some punches which he did not or dodge & slipped pacs punches & countered it which is his talent, but no! he just covered like a turtle & hugged when he gets in a fight without countering. And when he counter in some occasions he misses all his hook shot missed!

I dont know if he is getting slow but all his hook shot missed! I mean all of it! If that would have hit pac it would have been a different story. But he missed all his hooks! Thats the greatest counterPuncher? Pacs face when he bend down to attack was there infront of him! Pacs face was a little below his chest & he couldnt hit him not even once! I mean pac look like shaq & floyd like spud webb. I wondered who was the bigger guy & one with a broken shoulder. Seriously pac look like he-man & floyd like 1 of the 3 little pigs!

                # Pac countered the counter puncher

Pacquiao landed MORE punches overall than Mayweather. That alone would probably win most fights BUT Mayweather isn't an offensive fighter (at all) and nobody cares...it's all about his defensive qualities and how he constantly makes guys miss. In this fight, Mayweather only landed 68 of 471 punches thrown which means Pacquaio MADE Mayweather miss ALLLLL night long, while landing 30 more punches than Mayweather. That CAN'T be right...i've missed something right??

May Pac was the worst thing that could happen to boxing, every casual bought that PPV and they realized boxing is Trash, boxing is horrible. You have one small, old guy who tried, and you have one bigger old guy who ran and won one of the worst stinkers in boxing history.
