Ward - irrelevant as ever, just gets any media coverage when he talks about GGG.

Ward has a pathetic existence. Living only in GGG's shadow.

The reality is, Ward commentated the GGG vs Macklin fight, shortly after that fight HBO approached Ward for a fight vs GGG and Ward startet stuttering.. uh no, my shoulder.. while GGG said "I am ready". Ward ended up Edwin Rodriguez instead and then retired for 2 years

Ward, who's been out of the ring since November 2013, During Ward's period of inactivity, his name was consistently linked to several potential fights. One of those potential fights would come against WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs). In an interview conducted last year, Golovkin's trainer Abel Sanchez said his boxer was willing to fight any notable name from junior middleweight to super middleweight. In a direct response to that interview, Ward raised his hand and said he was ready to fight Golovkin. At that time, Golovkin's handlers had legitimate concerns because Ward had an ongoing legal battle with his former promoter. That legal issue has long been resolved. During several recent interviews with Golovkin and members of his team, Ward's name has once again been raised for a potential fight. Golovkin's promoter, Tom Loeffler of K2, is receptive to the idea of fighting Ward but believes they need additional time to build it up into a pay-per-view attraction. Ward does not agree with Loeffler's response and views it as another excuse to avoid the fight - noting that Golovkin has attempted to face two different super middleweights, Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., in the last twelve months. Both Chavez and Froch are physically bigger than Ward.

Ward can get the GGG payday @168 when he unifies 175 and then beats Usyk.

Boxing is such a f'ing farce. The same guy talking publicly about not being able to make 168 anymore and having difficulties making 175 right here on this site really wants the world to believe he was going to fight this guy at 168...you just said you can't make the weight bruh!! I mean is it like folks think its 1950 and you say one thing this month, we can't go back and check on it?

slappin'soggy has no power he's a slapper could not hurt his last 2 opponents went 12 rounds each got busted up by berrera he is headed for a KO loss better focus

the fight woulda happened at 168 lbs in 2015.... ggg's team said no to 168 and that it would have to be at 164 lbs or no fight cuz ward can't draw etc.

watch the interview the person asking questions asks about ggg none stop. the part i thought was interesting was ward said the offer was 50-50 on everything even weight. wish ggg fans would just admit that ggg didnt want anything to do with andre ward thats the reality i dont know why ggg fans try to squirm out of it and the way they do it is funny cause the excuses they make are same ones they bash canelo fans for saying.

Ward can win without power.

Without power Kovalev would not have a license because he would have been knocked out so many times.
