guy guys just don't have an objective bone in your body. i'm going to vegas to watch ward fight. paying 500 bucks each for two tickets. flights. hotels. i am one of the biggest andre ward fans in the world. but i'm not a fanboy like you guys. i am objective. give it a try. andre ward is not perfect! he signed an extension with joe goossen, who did him a lot of favors in getting him good money and fights in america in the SS, only to hold out. he's largely responsible for his promotional inactivity. yes, kelly pavlik lost his mind. yes, he broke two bones in his hand in the froch fight. no, he didn't duck lucian bute, who fought scrubs and got annihilated by a guy ward beat handily.

this is called objectivity. don't watch a guy crap all over a fight, act like he still wants the fight, and then call ME the fanboy.

class dismissed, i have a job and a life.

You have a pic of Ward in your Avi....then you go on hating him.

The guy tried to be tasteful about it for a long time but Sanchez just kept yapping, making up lies.
I think you hit the nail on the head, he tried avoiding it as best as possible. But when you constantly get asked about it and the other side starts running there mouth, eventually your going to say something. Doesn't mean he isn't focused, just answering a repetitive question.

Ward didn't move up to fight Kovalev.Ward is a ligthheavy. His last three fights he couldn't make supermiddle. So he hasn't moved up to challenge for greatness. He's just fighting for a title in the only division he can fight in.He could've moved just to be great once ,but he refused and dragged the champ down to his division.

Sure there Ward, breaking the opponent's face and winning by 5th rd TKO is the reason why turned down his 164 offer.

You had better focus on Killa Kov because he ain't some 40 year old, 168 pound Colombian cabbie like the one you just struggled with.

There's no way in hell in all honesty that GGG beats Ward, that's impossible, Both are great fighters and I like them both,. but there's a diference between a great MW and a LHW Genius.

                    That's how it is.

So he ducked GGG...to eventually fight somebody bigger and who hits every bit as hard as GGG??
I don't think he ducked Golovkin. But I didn't get the sense that he pushed for the Kovalev fight either.

Ward has done essentially nothing after the Super 6 and his sense of entitlement is misplaced because ultimately, for whatever reasons, he's just not a draw. Given that, I suspect HBO told him they were not going to fork over $2M each for two tune ups unless there was a threat facing him in the last fight of the contract. Based on what Ward has said during the past year regarding his career, I wouldn't have been surprised if he had chosen another scrub for that third installment if that option was available.
