Three things:
1) When Golovkin is asked about Ward, he says "Next" - which was my main point. The fight's gone for now. Shut the *** up.
2) Sanchez is an assh-le.
3) Ward's answer is PR bull**** for himself. He's using the Brook fight, in which Golovkin did not box, to say that's why Golovkin didn't fight him - because apparently Golovkin can't box. There are dozens of other fights in which Golovkin BOXES beautifully. Yet somehow we're supposed to believe that was a mirage and what he displayed vs. Brook is the extent of his boxing skill? Everyone knows the fight vs. Brook was not typical of Golovkin. Anyone with 2 eyes can go on youtube and say "uh oh, that doesn't look the same as the previous 10". You didn't see Ward saying this after Lemieux fight, did you?
And lastly, he turned that quesiton into self promotion. That's a little b1tch move if I ever saw one.Comment

That's just the reality.
Ward would have beat Golovkin handily, but couldn't get him in the ring so instead he has gone up to fight Kovalev.Comment

When did Ward cry out that they were forcing him to do anything ??? Please send linkHere's our monthly Ward talking **** about Golovkin interview. I thought he would focus on his career with the biggest fight of his life looming in 2 months, but I guess I was wrong.
This is precisely why I like Ward the boxer, Ward the family man, but absolutely despise Ward the human being. He keeps yapping like a little dog about the slights in his life. "They're forcing me to up", "I don't know why I'm not a bigger star", etc. Good god, if Golovkin CHOSE to fight a 30th ranked 40 year old from a division below, he'd be a victim of a drive by the next day. Yet somehow Ward gets away with it because he says they're 'tune ups'.
Golovkin is a man, and ***ing acts like one. He said he's tired of Ward's bull**** and that Ward is dead to him, and that was IT. That's how a MAN behaves.Comment

Earlier this week, soon to be light heavyweight contender Andre Ward (28-0, 15KOs) officially withdrew from a scheduled slot as the co-featured attraction to the Miguel Cotto vs. Saul Alvarez HBO Pay-Per-View undercard. Ward suffered a knee injury during training camp. Ward is regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport, but his inactivity is killing his momentum. He last fought June, where he stopped overmatched Paul Smith - and it was Ward's first bout since the fall of 2013.
