Or maybe just defend the titles he won in the ring? Still, can't blame Canelo for giving up the prestigious Middleweight title ,he had to go back to 154 just one more time to take on the great Liam Smith..

everybody wants ggg to test himself..except his fans. now anyone who wants him to 175 wants him to lose? well thats exactly what bhop did...but i guess it's too much to ask ggg to dare to be great.. we already acknowledge he's the best at 160, beating saunders or jacobs will be expected. he is a beast at 160, and that's precisely why ppl want him out of his comfort zone and take a risk.

Other Thanks Degale nothing at 168 is really any better than Saunders Jacobs Canelo at 160 is it? We know Ramirez hasn't beat anyone..apart from an old Abraham..

It really is not that hard! If a WW fights a SWW, beats him, and then comfortably goes back to WW, you know that took courage. That means he didn't "outgrow" his division, he just wanted to fight a bigger guy for bigger money. If GGG beat Zurdo early 2017, then came back to 160 and beat Canelo...THAT"S GREATNESS.

Mayweather lost in his first fight with Castillo.

With an honest referee, Ward would have lost by DQ to Kessler. He deliberately tried to injure Kessler with head butts.

Bhop did it against Tarver, but Bhop didnt do it as reigning middleweight champion,he got a chance to unify and make defences first..sometimes even against shot old Welterweights like Simon Brown who were much smaller..

Remember that great superfight between Chad Dawson and Ward, how good it might have been had it been at 170 but Ward didn't concede ,and Dawson lost a few paydays from a career cut short.Guess Ward wasn't ready to challenge himself at that point.
