Cotton was apparently a real middle at 153 when Canelo fought him.But Brook was a blown up Welter at 160plus when Golovkin fought him.

Lesson: Floyd won his first title at 130, 2 years after debuting, and went as far as 154 and won four titles, along the way beating Hall of Famers and ATGs.

      Now, what's Golovkin done?
It sounds good to say Mayweather beat this ATG or that H of F fighter but it doesn't mean too much if those guys are years past their best days.
Marquez is the only elite fighter , close to his prime, that Floyd fought and was at his best at 127-135 lbs.

Floyd moved up to fight Castillo because he couldn't make 130 anymore.
Oscar was old and 147 was his best weight.
Cotto best weight was 140 besides coming off losses to Magarito & Pac.
Alvarez was a weight drained kid at 152.
Besides never leaving Vegas, FM knew when to fight guys.

Seems Joshua is upset his countrymen got destroyed two weekends ago. Golovkin should just keep doing what he's doing, punking Canelo, breaking records, and making money.

Then when Canelo has the balls to fight, he can cement his legacy by beating up the Ginger.

              1) Floyd didn't have to choose the Lightweight Champion for his first fight at that weight, but he did...risky!

              2) Oscar was 33, almost the exact age as GGG, and Oscar was much bigger, and the champion. Floyd had never fought a SWW, fights the champ first fight at the weight...risky!

              3) Cotto was champion @ 154! Unlike Pacquiao, Floyd didn't ask for a catch-weight, and beat the bigger man...risky!

              4) Alvarez dropped 2 lbs. at age 23. Way heavier than Floyd on fight night (Just like Corrales was too), yet Floyd beats the bigger and younger man...risky!

The point is Floyd took risks, GGG fought Brook and Wade in 2016! No comparison!

See how the fanboy-itis works, we just found out this weekend, that he already has had at least TWO OFFERS on the table for the fight, but he's been lying to you IDIOTS, like salt-water healings, scared of needles, this is why we know most of you are disappointed pac-roids in hiding and supporting this BS.

One thing that GGG obviously does that people fail to mention is weight drain himself for those 30 day and 7 day weigh-ins. Then his team says, "look he's a small middleweight." He now refuses to hop on HBO's unofficial scale on fight night when in the past he has been 173+. He has one of the most annoying teams ever. They are always spewing lies and misdirection. His fans may be worse than Pacquiao's pre Mayweather loss. Talk about an uninformed group of "boxing fans".

Hmm try this.Floyd went up to lightweight to fight Castillo who had been knocked out four times and was rightfully a big favourite.Small risk..Oscar,a guy who started at 130lbs ,beaten twice by lightweight Mosley, gifted over Sturm, and stopped by a body shot two fights ago.Past prime to say the least at 33.Small risk.
..Cotto,smaller framed ,traumatised by Margarito by now, crushed by Pac man..but the toughest fight Floyd had had..Alvarez..weight drained at 152 ,best name on record 40 year old Mosley, struggled with the great Trout in previous outing ..risk small..see how easy it is to pull this **** apart? Give me a record I can trash it..
