Canelo remains the true world class fighter that is most underappreciated by a lot of fans.

He is a fantastic fighter as well as being highly entertaining. Punch variation, hand speed, power, fluid upper body and head movement, set-up work, counter punching....the only negative is slow feet, but that's more than made up for.

He was getting caught with punches a more complete fighter should avoid. Smith failed to capitalize a few times Canelo was carrying his left low. If he mixed in some body shots with some of those punches he was catching maybe they would have more consequences.

Canelo is a good young fighter but he's not near Wards level in my mind.

I'll make it easier for you, was Barrera, Marquez, Morales or Pac ever hit in which those blows "should've been avoided?" Shouldn't Golovkin avoided all those shots by Brook or does it matter? If Golovkin gets a pass for immunity to sell a fight round by round then why is it impossible for many to think that Alvarez can't?

                You're slow man...

Context was/is completeness... lol. My point is Alvarez is fast with combinations with great accuracy, well disciplined. What's your point? Name some fighters that were trunks in the ring.

Watch the Lara fight what happened with Canelo would never happen with GGG, hell Angulo was landing more cleaner than Canelo.
