Alvarez Is The Most Complete Boxer Atm, second Ward

I rate Ward higher in skill over Alvarez, but Alvarez is one of the most exciting fighters for us fans that want dynamics.

He got that work with Lara, controversial, had to play the hunting game with a very footwork orinted A class boxer. To discredit Mosley is to discredit Kova's win over the Alien. Trout? Second Southpaw...should've been KO'd by Charlo considering the hype the brothers get and the loss to Alvarez...beaten. Shows how to respect Trout's skill even today.

Angulo? it could be a factor of the weight advantage. Money May vs Marquez? Or the talent truly there regardless. In both instances, target practice. Kirkland? Berzerker Barrage Juggernaut that outblasted Angulo. Alvarez battle tested that work...knowing Kirkland's chin...perhaps giving the fans a longer performance?

Cotto? Good god, that's one of the most technical fights Ive seen in years. High ring IQ by two greats. Like Floyd's legacy of opposition..

Khan? Well...now going to have that discussion when dumbboyz justify Brook and forget objectivity..

Smith. The British version of Angulo.

Personally I thought Alvarez carried the fight..First rounds were awkward, Alvarez usually has better movement than that. Until the mid to late rounds Alvarez cameto box as we know him. Or were the earlier rounds adjustment because of an old 154?

Regarding Ward. Would love to see Shumenov defend against Ward in two years time. Finalize his legacy at Heavyweight and attempt the WBC.

Canelo is easily puts together some of the best combos in boxing. His punch selection is second to none, body and head. His counter-punching is world class. Great speed, power, accuracy and timing. Upper body movement is fantastic, overall defense is solid, along with his foot work.

The only weak-point in Canelo's game is his foot speed and ability to cut off the ring. Since Mayweather, both of these aspects have improved and continue to improve. Other than that, Canelo is good at almost everything.

Canelo is easily one of the most complete fighters in the world right now.

He's more than that...he has good boxing skills. His undoing is his slow feet. He can't move well enough to box the way he'd like to and his defense isn't good enough at closer range.

Love Canelo. He does a lot of neat little tricks that he incorporates in every fight one by one. Ward is definitely the most complete fighter though. He's technically, fundamentally, and defensively sound. He's actually the best inside fighter in the sport, he just doesn't need to do so often.
