Here's the problem with your logic though, both men have to remain unbeaten in order for that fight to matter 1, 2, 3, 4 years from now and the chances of that are slim as fck for BOTH. The rest of 154 is nothing to sneeze at either..that whole A-Side shh is the reason this sport is going to sht fast. I'm also pretty sure Golovkin is doing just fine with $2 million dollar purses plus endorsements and an occasional ppv bump...so who needs who is irrelevant these aren't two nobodies as each man has a big following. Going from 70/30 to take a flat fee, to also give us the weight, to also give us the venue, plus its our event...is bullshh plain and simple. Even Floyd Mayweather conceded some aspects of a fight/money and he didn't have to.
