I would like any information about the guy for a paper I am writing.

Anything, the guy is somewhat of a ghost and I have an entire chapter dedicated to him.

You can't find much about a guy who has such a large influence on the boxing world.

Broke into the boxing business in late 90s- early 2000s as advisor to vernon forest

Mid 2000s hooked up with floyd and was instrumental in bringing floyd to PPv vs gatti, zab, baldomir and in buying out Floyd's contract with top rank and securing the de la hoya fight

Pushed floyd to the very top, made him the highest paid athlete the world has ever seen

He used the success of floyd to basically sign a bunch of big name fighters

Used gbp and Richard shchafer as de facto promoters.. Oscar got pissed and fired Richard. Haymon took his fighters away.

Started PBC with private equity group in hopes of landing a major TV deal similar to wwe and ufc

It's the equity group that invested in haymon,, their investors are bringing the heat in Waddell n Reed, which doesn't have much chance and will be dismissed.

Equity group has lost 15-30% of their value, even though Pbc is less than 1% of their investments.. Reed & Waddell have made other bad investments, much more than pbc, but Pbc is an example of how they "mis-invested" so the boxing media is all over it even though pbc really has done nothing wrong, if anything it's waddell & Reed

Don't start with Hauser articles. He don't know shit Look up some old Jet, Ebony, and Essence magazine articles. Find some lesser known artists that were on the show and look them up on Facebook and ask them to speak to you about the Budweiser Superfest shows in the 80's-90's

This is how I first found out about Haymon. He brought the best concerts to my city and at the end of the commercials on the radio they would always say Brought To You By Al Haymon.
